Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis is a Tang from the Pacific Ocean. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. It grows to a size of 25 cm in length. As a juvenile it is a yellow to orange color with purple markings, as an adult it is dark brown with light colored fine horizontal striping.
